IRTA Joins In Presenting
$10,000 AARP Award to Seeger Junior / Senior High
School
IRTA President Eugene Wease and
his wife Jeanne participated in the awarding of the
$10,000 AARP Ethel Percy Andrus Legacy Award to
Seeger Junior-Senior High School, in West Lebanon,
Indiana. The award was presented to honor the
school's innovative development of the Patriot
Activity Center, and the AARP awards were given to
schools across America as part of AARP's 50th
anniversary celebrations. Jeanne Wease, along with
IRTA and AARP staff members, was a member of the
selection committee which chose Seeger Jr-Sr High
from a field of numerous applicants from across
