Raymond Pavy

Raymond Pavy of New Castle in Henry County graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Health Education, a Master's Degree and Doctorate from Ball State University.

He taught eight years at Middletown School, Sulphur Springs High School and Shenandoah High School. He then taught at Parkview Junior High School and New Castle Community School Corporation before working as an Assistant Superintendent for 31 years.

He also served a year as Interim Superintendent for the Charles A. Beard School Corporation in Knightstown.

He was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in 1990. He has served as president of the Indiana School Business Officials and Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.

Ray and his wife Karen, a retired special education teacher with the New Castle Community School Corporation, have a son and a daughter.
