Today we are joined by Shannon Anderson from Rensselaer Elementary. We welcome Shannon back and look forward to her thoughts today on writing tips for students, parents and teachers who may not be confident in their ability to teach writing.
Today you are going to share writing tips that can help children develop a love of writing. I’ll let you get started with some of your favorite tips.
In what ways do you incorporate writing in the classroom? Lessons, stations, or authoring?
What ideas/tips to you have for incorporating writing in various subjects?
Writing has taken a backseat in many classrooms, but we know there is a strong correlation on writing skills and developing reading skills. Do you have a examples or stories of improvement you have seen in your students?
You do Writing and Authoring workshops. What are your favorite presentations to give?
