Proctors sought for grade school assessments

The National Assessment of Educational Progress seeks motivated individuals to proctor assessment sessions with 4th and 8th Grade students in schools.

These are part-time, temporary positions involved with:

  • administering assessment sessions using tablets in schools for a group of approximately 25 students, and
  • ensuring quality control by following proper procedures.

Candidates must be available to work from January 30 to March 10, 2017. NAEP provides paid training, paid time and mileage reimbursement for local driving, and weekly paychecks.

Candidates should enjoy working in schools, be detail oriented and be able to work in a team environment. They should have good communication skills and be comfortable working with technology. Prior education or research experience is a plus. These positions are ideal for retired educators.
